CIT (Creative Industries Trafford) is responsible for delivering artist development opportunities on behalf of Waterside Arts. Over the past year we have built up a solid partnership with CIT’s animation strand, delivering a variety of events, conferences, workshops and commission opportunities for emerging animators.

This has been an opportunity to connect the legacy of Cosgrove Hall Films to a new generation of animators and creatives in the field. We’re excited about supporting the local animation scene, and we hope animators from across the country will use the archive as a resource to learn and support the creation of new original animation and to keep the art of stop motion and hand drawn alive.
